  There has been a recent spate of fraudulent S8 prescriptions along the east coast of Australia. PDL would like to remind members to remain vigilant and adhere to state-based legislation when dispensing any S8 prescriptions. There have been several confirmed reports of fraudulent handwritten and computer-generated prescriptions for Durogesic patches in varying strengths and quantities.
