As Australia’s first national pharmacy body, PDL (Pharmaceutical Defence Limited) was established in 1912 by pharmacists, for pharmacists. Now 110 years on, we are still holistically owned by our pharmacist members and are dedicated to supporting them throughout their professional life. We provide Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance that is tailored to individual pharmacists, 24/7 incident support and risk management advice. We are a not-for-profit organisation and support over 31,000 members nationally from across the profession, comprised mostly of community, hospital, clinical, research and retired pharmacists, interns and students.
