Reporting incidents to PDL

Pharmacy practice is constantly evolving, and incidents can occur in any practice setting. PDL encourages members to report incidents as soon as they become aware of an event. There is no penalty for reporting an incident to PDL, and it ensures you comply with your policy requirements.

Your incident will be triaged by the pharmacist Professional Officers, with confidential, one-to-one support and advice available.

Incident data also helps improve safety across the profession through education and advocacy.

PDL members can speak to a Professional Officer after hours for urgent situations when a patient or pharmacist is at immediate risk of harm.
