PDL is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Student Grant Program are open. Designed to support Australia’s pharmacy students, the program helps recipients broaden their education by attending a professional pharmacy conference. Each grant – valued at up to $5,000 – can be used to cover event registration, travel, accommodation and meal expenses. Three grants are available in 2026.

Applicants can select one of the following pharmacy events:

  1. PSA National Conference: 31 July–2 August 2026, Sydney
  2. Pharmacy WA Forum: 6–7 August 2026, Perth
  3. Pharmacy Connect: 9–11 September 2026, Sydney
  4. AdPha Medicines Management: 22–24 October 2026, Brisbane
  5. Australasian Pharmaceutical Science Association (APSA) Conference: 6–9 December 2026, Melbourne
  6. APP27 Conference: 18–20 March 2027, Gold Coast

PDL has proudly offered the Student Grant Program since 2020 and is excited to welcome this year’s applicants. Last year marked the most successful round yet, with application numbers doubling from the previous year.

Erin Fawcett, a 2025 grant recipient, described the program as a rewarding experience. “PDL invests in the student voice, and to anyone thinking of applying – do it! It will open your pharmacy world in more ways than you can expect,” she said.

To be eligible for a grant, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate pharmacy course at an Australian university and be a PDL member.

Students can submit an online application via the PDL member portal. Applications close on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
