Following the retirement of Curtis Ruhnau, PDL is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Galbraith as the new Director for NSW and the ACT.

Amanda is a high-level executive with experience as a community pharmacist and community pharmacy owner, board director and credentialled diabetes educator. She brings considerable leadership, stakeholder engagement, and finance and risk experience to this role.

Amanda is currently Director and FARM Chair of the Australian Pharmacy Council and a Board Director for Marathon Health and the Pharmacists’ Support Service. She is a past Director/National Councilor of the Pharmacy Guild.

PDL Chair, Paul Naismith, said, “There was a great deal of interest in the position, and following an extensive selection process for this casual vacancy, we are delighted to welcome Amanda onto the PDL Board.

“Amanda is well known and highly respected throughout the pharmacy profession and beyond, and brings excellent strategic guidance, member focus and corporate governance credentials to the position. We feel Amanda will complement the existing skillsets around our Board table and is a great fit with the values and culture of the organisation.”

Amanda is looking forward to joining PDL’s Board of Directors and continuing to represent the pharmacist members of NSW and the ACT.
