PDL is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025 Student Grant Program, with applications open until April 13.
The grants program was established to help Australian pharmacy students broaden their education by attending a professional pharmacy conference. There are three grants available at a value of up to $5,000AUD each. The funds contribute to event registration, travel, accommodation and meal expenses. This 2025 program offers five recognised conferences to choose from:
- Life Long Learning in Pharmacy Conference, 7-10 July, Sydney
- PSA national conference, 1-3 August, Sydney
- Pharmacy Connect, 3-5 September, Sydney
- AdPha Medicines Management, 27-29 November, Melbourne
- APP26 Conference, 12-14 March, Gold Coast
PDL has proudly been offering the Student Grant Program since 2020 and is eager to see this year’s applicants. Winner of a 2024 grant Yannee Liu recommends students apply for a grant because it allows them to connect with the profession.
“The PDL student grant provides an invaluable and unique opportunity for pharmacy students to connect with industry professionals and thought leaders from across the country,” Yannee said.
“I have been able to expand my horizons, clinical knowledge, scope of practice and networks by attending PSA24 through the PDL student grant,” she added. “I highly recommend applying for the PDL student grant! Go for it!”
To be eligible for a grant, students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate pharmacy course at an Australian university and be a PDL member.
Students can submit an online application for one of three grants via the PDL member portal. Applications close on Sunday, 13 April 2025 at 11pm AEST.
